The EFW mini is the smallest and most lightweight 1.25″ Electronic Filter Wheel in the world! Handles 5x1,25" or 31mm (unmounted) filters. Weights 300g only. Thickness is 20 mm.
Only one USB Cable is enough to power up the EFW, the max power consumption is around 120mA@5V, so you can powered it through the USB port.
The Electronic Filter wheel can be rotated in both counter clockwise or clockwise direction for filter selection.
The distance between the filter and sensor is only around 10mm when you connect it to ASI1600. So 1.25″ filters won’t have vignetting up to F5 focal ratio scope and 31mm filter won’t have vignetting up to F2 lens
ZWO ASI224MC USB 3.0 color camera, (1/3″ and 1.2M pixels sensor, IMX224 with SONY Exmor and NIR Technology, extremely low read noise (0.75e – 1.5 e) and high sensitivity especially in IR range)
ASI224MC has a 1/3″ and 1.2M pixels sensor IMX224 with SONY Exmor and NIR Technology.
Extremely low read noise (1.5 e) and high sensitivity especially in IR range.
Very suitable for astronomy planetary and small DSO imaging
The ASI485MC is one of the latest OSC planetary cameras released by ZWO in 2021. Packed with Sony sensor IMX485, this camera has some very great highlights, including a large resolution of 3840*2160, compatible with USB 3.0 interface, large full-well depth of 13ke-, extremely high sensitivity and super low read out noise, etc.
1/1.2” 8MP backlit sensor
ASI485MC shares the same pixel size of 2.9um with ASI462MC, but when it comes to resolution, ASI485MC is 4 times bigger than ASI462MC. The total number of pixels is 8.28 million. The sensor length and width are 11.13mm*6.26mm. The diagonal is 12.86mm.
Diagonal 6.46 mm (Type 1/2.8) Square Pixel Array Color CMOS Image Sensor
▶Back-Illuminated CMOS image Sensors with Improved Visible Light and Near Infrared Sensitivity that Support 1080p
Sony has developed the approx. 2.13M effective pixel back-illuminated CMOS image sensors IMX290LQR and IMX291LQR with improved sensitivity in the visible-light and near infrared light regions for industrial applications.
A new 2.9 µm-square unit pixel has been developed that combines a back-illuminated structure with technology for improving near infrared sensitivity to further enhance picture quality at low illumination while at the same time realizing Full HD cameras for industrial applications. This realizes two or more times the sensitivity in the visible-light region and three or more times the sensitivity in the near infrared light region than that of the existing Sony product (IMX236LQJ).
Astrophotography Performance
ASI290MM offers very good performance for astrophotography. Low read noise, high dynamic range, QE peak about 80%, AR protective window and much more.
High QE
Relative QE Curve, we estimate the Peak Value is about 80%.
USB 3.0 Port & ST4 Port
USB 3.0 Port: can provide 5Gb bandwidth to let ASI290 run at 82.2fps (12bit, normal mode) or 170 fps (10bit, high speed mode) at full resolution(2.1Mega).
ST4 Port: can be used connect with auto guide port of mount, for guiding.
Drivers and Softwares:
Our website has newest camera drivers and many DSO and Planetary capture softwares. Please make sure the newest driver and software has been installed before you start shooting:
ZWO ASI120MM USB 3.0 monochrom Autoguider Camera (MT9M034 Sensor, Pixel 3,75 micron) with Interface (fish-eye objective included!)
ASI120S is a super speed and sensitive USB 3.0 camera. Up to 60FPS under 1280X960 full resolution!
Very good cameras with extra high image quality. Extra high sensitivity and extra low readout noise resulting exeptionally good image quality, or high snr (signal to noise ratio).
Output is 12 bit (over the usual 8 bit), readout time is very fast. ROI is supported, so it can be use as a lower resolution camera for planetary imaging with very-very high transfer rate. While transfer rate is 35fps at full resolution of the USB 2.0 models, the new 3.0 version has amazing 60fps maximal frame rate! At lower resolution it is even faster, 133fps at 640x480. Extremely good!
Supported OS: Windows XP 32bit/64bit, vista, Windows 7 32bit/64bit, Windows 8 32bit/64bit
ASI178MC has a 1/1.8″ and 6.4M pixels sensor IMX178 with SONY STARVIS and Exmor R Technology.
Extremely low read noise(2.2 e) , high sensitivity and 14bit ADC make it very suitable for astronomy and microscopy photograph
